About Masai Mara
The Kenyan half of the Serengeti ecosystem, across the border from our home parks, and the stage for the Great Migration’s most dramatic river crossings between July and October.
We run cross-border trips into the Mara for travellers who want both sides of the migration story, or who are combining Kenya and Tanzania in one trip. Dense with camps and vehicles in peak season, it earns the crowds with some of the most reliable predator sightings in Africa.

Practical notes
- •A cross-border trip — factor in an extra visa and a border crossing or flight from Arusha.
- •Book crossing-season camps six months or more ahead.
- •Combines naturally with a northern Serengeti extension on our side of the border.
